Sorry for no update!

I have eventually managed to finish the car now and here is the adjusted spec list with some new pics.

SR20DET Rebuild Update!

Right if you don’t know I did manage to get hold of a freshly built, awsome spec bottom end. It was supposed to save me time and money. Money yes, time no!
I’ve been so busy with work and stuff I aint had time to do much so things have been on hold for a while. [...]

Ouchhh!!!!

Right finally I have time to update here.
I went and took my engine out a couple of weeks ago to find the problem with it. I guessed the piston rings on number 2 but it was worse than I thought…

Right, got the car back today and from the pics i think you’ll agree it’s a top job (show room finish).
As I didn’t have much time between picking the car up and taking it to it’s new home i could only take pics when I wasn’t driving.
But here she is

Yep thats right it’s finished.
I’m going to pick it up on Saturday, then it’s going straight to the lock up to start taking the engine out :(

Update - bodywork and engine

My car has been in the bodyshop for five weeks and is due to be primed this weekend. I’ve stuck with the same colour and I plan to re-paint the wheels to freshen them up.
I have my CS2s waiting to go and, after melting a piston, I’m in the process of buying a freshly rebuilt [...]
