SR20DET Rebuild Update!

Right if you don’t know I did manage to get hold of a freshly built, awsome spec bottom end. It was supposed to save me time and money. Money yes, time no!

I’ve been so busy with work and stuff I aint had time to do much so things have been on hold for a while. Right so here’s some pics of the block I managed to get hold of that was built by Angel Works and if you look on their site this block is the actual one used in their article, so if you want to check out the specs etc you’ll need to check it out there for there detailed build.


While that was sitting in the corner of my work for a while I cleaned up some bits..

I received my h-dev exhaust manifold along with all the gaskets that I would need to build the engine.

Last night after a long time waiting for time to be on my side and doing a 12 hour shift my good friend Gary aka (boombastik on SXOC) came round to help me build it as he has alot more experience than me which I think is always good when your not totally sure lol.

We started about 8pm and finished all we could do by midnight which I think is not bad going. I had to be up for work the next day for 7am to work until 8pm. I couldn’t wait to get to bed lol, but here are the pics of the recent progress.

I forgot to mention I got my Driftworks CS2’s on too.

I’m really counting down the days now, I can’t wait lol!
