Next on list turbo elbow/down pipe, mounting bracket for charger, bottom pulley sorted, belt and somehow work out how the hell to tension it???

joe: thats what is happening probs have loads of pipework half hanging out of the bonnet aswell, would have been better to place it on top of inlet mani tbh but long piperuns would be more complicated & apparently cause problems for some reason if too long???
samoht: dont think this will ever be road leagl i value my licence too much lol! being built as a dedicated drift car have not even bothered to reg it.
shane: it will work somehow, if all else fails will remove turbo and go s/c only but should not come to that!

yep sr20det has a metal hg apart from that totally standard. i intend apon testing my 740cc injectors in stages to there maximum limit which i would imagine is past the tolerence of the engine and gearbox! :-)

Do you need a bonnet ? If it’s drift only, you could just put a tarpaulin over it on the trailer, then run without a bonnet on track. That’ll keep the engine temperatures a bit lower, too. Otherwise maybe find someone who can do a mutant panel in fibreglass.
Re gearbox, I have heard someone who broke theirs after a week at 380hp or so, so I guess that’s around the limit depending on torque curve and driving style.

hard drifted 200’s with over 350bhp break alot of gearboxes from what i have seen & the torque figure from mine i would imagine will be massive. so plan on getting a couple of spares near the time of completion.
a z32 gearbox conversion will be added at a later date so i can up the boost as will forged engine internals!
