Got it home at last!

Well after the fun and games of 2 weeks ago I’ve at last had the parts needed to put my car back together and get it home from my gran’s drive

Many thanks to Artel Motorsport for being able to supply the needed pipes (in cool colours) and for putting up with me being a fool and ordering the wrong sizes first time round.

Get your cool hoses from: http://www.artelmotorsport.co.uk/

I cut them to the right sizes the night before and it took about an hour to fit them all. I’ll post pics of that tomorrow as I forgot to take more than this one:

After taking that I had a look at the jigsaw puzzle that was my front bumper.

I’ve made a start stitching it together with multi coloured cable ties but am not having much luck and have called it a night for that (covered in fiberglass cuts too :-( )

I also picked up an s13 bumper support bar from a breakers yard today and am in the process of getting rid of all the rust on it and modding it to work with the silvia front end.

Now a fair bit of media has appeared from the track day so I thought I’d share that too.

Now I’d love to say this is me doing epic skids and waving in a gay fashion….but its not. It is Kev from SXOC showing how its done in a 400bhp 2.0L CA DET. I’m the passenger having the time of his life and thinking “What the hell, I’ll give it a go”

I took these vids: (dont know how to make them just appear rather than link).

And a mate took this in which you can see my car drifting right at the end. Whilst I’d love to say that it was my skills producing that smoke……I can’t, it was once again Kev showing me how its done and what my car is able to do.

These nice shots were taken by a mate Fudi and played with by mint:

Cheers for looking and I’ll produce more engine shots with new pipes and parts tomorrow.
