Well my s13 is still away at Hybrid Paintworks getting the roof repaired, so with no car to tinker with or to clean i’ve been having a flick through some of my old photos from when I first got the car.
Boy does it look different…
The car was privately imported and was up in Dundee for roughly a month until the importer decided it was a bit too hardcore to be driving around on the street. The coilovers are rock hard and were wound well down so clearance was a big issue. Also the locked differential made maneuvring a bit of a chore so luckily for me he decided to sell up!
It is a 1994 Type-x and came with a full type-x bodykit, kouki lights and panel. For rims it was wearing some fairly weaksauce fake dish 18″ Big Beats. 8″ et35 front and 9″ et35 rear. It also had +25mm spacers all round to give the weak wheels some proper stance.
It had a really glitzy, showoff look to it which did make me think ’should I change the kit, the wheels and everything to make it mine like I had planned, or should I just leave it and enjoy it?’. In a roundabout lucky way I suppose the decision was made for me when the bonnet flew off the safety latch (I left it off by mistake..) and smashed into my roof. This cracked the bonnet clean in half and knackered the roof. I figured since I was going to the body shop anyway I might as well to all the other bits I wanted all in one hit.
For my next post i’ll show you the photos that we took when it was in the bodyshop to have all that work ^^ done!

Dude white type of over fenders are you using in the rear and what about the front

I’m using some really modified +25mm rear overfendesrs though they are probably closer to +40/50 mm now.
Front fenders are standard metal with lip taken out and rolled inside

+25mm rear over fenders, even though you put those on did you also take the lip out of the rear and rolled them out to. What brand fenders are they are they Origin. Do you recommend a specific company as far as fenders. The car is amazing great job Joe. Keep up the great work and Your website kicks ass bro

Hey Flaco - cheers for the props
I bought the overfenders from EP Racing here in the uk. They fitment wasn’t amazing but with a decent bodyshop it wasn’t too costly. Yeah they were gutted and pulled out to fit the wheels.
Most people in the uk go for EP racing over fenders or charge speed over fenders. I prefer the look of the EP racing items as they don’t go all the way over the panel so you can clearly see it’s a aftermarket part if the rivets weren’t obvious enough
