Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
I’d like to take this time to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 180sx.co.uk has smashed all of my expectations for traffic and subscribers so I would like to thank you all for visiting. Right a quick update about my own 180sx..
I’ve been using the poor thing for absolutely everything over the christmas period, it’s been my thrash toy, my people carrier and my present bearer. It even acted as a break down vehicle when I rescused a snowed in family member. All of this is making me love the car again so I have decided not to sell it.
Here are a couple of random pics I took this week..
My plans for 2010 with the car will be to professionally strip the interior, replace my passenger subframe with a skyline one (R32 skyline bride subframes fit better then S13 subframes oddly - I had a S13 super low as a test on my drivers seat and I had *no* leg room!), a half cage for the rear, some winter wheels, fancy wheels nuts, nice gear knob and I think that’s about it! I would like to get some of the paint touched up and a full engine wire tuck but that can wait until the money is okay.
Overall I am very happy with the car, it works all the time (crazy for an s13!) and hasn’t let me down in months (touch wood). The power seems pretty good now i’ve got the boost back up to the mapped level of 16psi, it pulls hard and fast and i’m not sure if I really need to fit the monster turbo kit I have sitting in my cupboard.
That’s pretty much my car updated, not too much has happened recently i’m just using it and enjoying it. See you all in the new year!
