S13 from Poland
Hello from Poland. I wanted to introduce my car - a 1992 200SX.
It all began in 2007 when I bought the car. A clean and totally stock example. Iinitially I wanted to keep it standard. However it didn’t last too long, as I simply got bored.The modyfying bug caught me.
My objective was to build a fast and comfortable street car.
Having a small budget I’m sourcing all the parts by myself. Most of them are eBay bargains( my addiction :) )
So the current spec is:
Engine:
- CA18DET - full stage 2:
- FMIC+custom aluminium pipework, T28, Blitz BOV, aluminium throttle pulley, walbro, custom exhaust with HKS drager backbox, colder plugs,HKS ltd edition oil and water caps, Apexi Power intake, Z32 fuel filter
Electronics:
- stage2 HD chip, Blitz DSBC, HKS electronic boost gauge, Sevic DVD radio, BeeR Rev Limiter
Body:
- Replikit Vertex copy(only front fitted so far), JDM sun visors, JDM power folding mirrors, JDM kouki taillights with kevlar center panel, clear repeaters and front lamps, HIDs
Drivetrain:
- standard clutch, S14a diff, circuit sports short shifter,
Brakes & suspension:
- lowering springs, polybushed and renewed rear subraframe, adjustable godspeed tie rods front, cusco style braces, godspeed ARBs, steering rod spacers, steering rack polyurthane bushings
- 300ZX brakes allround, grooved and drilled discs, braided lines, Z32 BMC
Wheels:
-Volk ce28n wannabes, 18″, with 15 and 20mm spacers front and rear respectively
Interior:
- Nardi Gara steering wheel, NRG quick release boss kit, nismo resin gear knob, spin turn knob, new OEM shift boot,
I’m very happy with the current setup. It has decent power(however its never enough as we all know), the suspension is great for our shitty roads here as it still offers some comfort. Brakes are amazing.
For now I will concentrate on finishing the bodykit, and then I’ll be searching for a new set of wheels. I also want to go as close to 300bhp as possible with this turbo, which will mean playing with the timing, and fuel pressure, maybe a bigger MAF.
Sometimes I’m thinking of selling it and moving on to something like a Skyline or RX7, but after thinking how much effort and money I’ve put in it I decide to keep it.
