Its about time i actually started doing stuff to my car.
Recently fitted an Apexi filter which was really easy to fit with the S14 adapter plate and sounds amazing, can hear the turbo spooling up which is a great sound lets you know the power is coming lol
I use to own a 200sx with rotten subframe bushes and it took alot of fun out of driving the car and i felt as if the subframe bushes on my 180 were going quite soft aswell so i jumped onto the Driftworks website to see what they had! got 4 poly subframe bushes and had them fitted by a reputable garage here, along with front 20mm slip on spacers from Apex performance who sent a Set that wasnt right for my car but the garage battled on to get them to fit.
Before
After
What a difference the bushes made, feels alot better after gear changes, added a bit of road noise but for the feel of the car the added noise is small potatoes and well worth the money.
+18 Offset on the fronts now, need to tackle to offset on the rear which is +38
all will be sorted come my next update ![]()
What? Not a 180?!

Just a quick introduction to me and my car for those who don’t know it. Its a 1995 PS13 Silvia running approx 350hp. I’ve been competing in the British Drift Championship this season and I’m rebuilding the car over winter ready for the next season. I’ll be keeping 180sx.co.uk up to date with build progress and theres some exciting news to come over the next few weeks so keep checking back.
For now, I’ve removed the old dashboard from the car ready to fit the new, redesigned dash and re-housed Apexi gauges.
In the workshop ready to start.
Old dash out.
New dash ready to go in.
Thats all for now, I’ve got to cut the nice new dash to fit around the cage and also extend the climate control loom to reach to the armrest, two jobs I’m not looking forward to!
It failed! (kinda)

Well.. I dropped the S13 off for the MOT this morning, when I left it there I wasn’t expecting it to pass, at least because of front wheel arch issues and the amount that has changed etc.
On a really frosty morning I drove it to the testing station as cautiously as possible, because I’m very used to 4WD now!
2 hours later I got the call, it has failed, for front wheels fouling the arches (expected that, but I wasn’t able source different wheels for the test) and a number plate light out… that’s it!! So I’m very chuffed, only a few small bits to change, but it’s pretty much ready to rock!
Watch this space!
